5th Green Flag
Our school is continuing its work on Biodiversity as part of our quest for a fifth Green School Flag. Biodiversity means the variety of life that surrounds us. It includes plants and animals and the habitats in which they live. Third and Fourth classes have been making bird feeders and have been observing the different birds in our school environment. We have seen sparrows, blackbirds, wagtails, chaffinches and many more. We hope that the Biodiversity theme will encourage the children to develop a respect and love of nature that will stay with them all their lives.
