The Twelve Days of Christmas.

This year we are making an extra special effort so the children can enjoy all the excitement and build up to Christmas

Day 1- Wear it Red

Day 2-Christmas Zumba

Thanks To Margaret Mary for all her effort, enthusiasm, energy and Festive Fun.

Day 3-Hot Chocolate Day

Thank you to Oliver O’Sullivan and Foley’s Spar shop, Milltown for helping make our ‘Hot Chocolate Day’ such a ‘steaming’ success. Thanks to all the staff for their effort.

Day 4 Christmas Quiz

Day four proved a great success with classes taking part in a socially distanced quiz using our school ‘Microsoft Teams’. There was stiff competition between all the classes and some fabulous prizes for the winners in each class. Many thanks to all the teachers but especially to Ms. Verona Heffernan, Mrs. Margaret Greene and Ms. Maria Daly who did an exceptional job hosting the quizzes.

Day 5-Jolly Mile/ Santa Walk

Making Fantastic use out of our All-Weather Pitch today where all pupils enjoyed running, jogging and walking the ‘Jolly Mile’. Well done

Day 6 Design a Christmas Jumper

Christmas Creativity at its best today with patterns, colours, tinsel, glitter and sequins in great demand. Well done to all!

Day 7 Christmas Bingo

We had Our school ‘teams’ for some classes while other teachers used the more traditional option for their classroom Christmas Bingo. Great focus, concentration and competition to see who got to shout ‘BINGO’ first. Well done to all.

Day 8- Winter Olympics

The Weather fitted in well with today’s theme. Great fun on our all weather pitch for our Winter Olympic Sports.

Day 9- Christmas Pantomime

We were thrilled to be able to have an exciting day filled with music, song, dance and fun. The Helix Panto online of ‘The Sword in the Stone’ went down a treat. A fantastic production. Thanks to Miss Bennett for all the organising.
