Biodiversity at Nagle-Rice-“Save the Bees”
Great news for Nagle-Rice Biodiversity. Resulting from our schools involvement in last year’s ‘Save the Bees’ programme we were delighted to be presented with two apple trees from Mr. Peter Keane of Keane’s Supervalu , Killorglin. A big thank-you to all the pupils, families and staff members who got involved in the ‘Save the Bees’ activities. These two apple trees are a great addition to our growing on-site tree count and our overall on-site biodiversity. They are to be planted in our school sensory garden and will be a great source of scientific investigation and learning for many years to come and so a big thank you to Mr.Keane.
