Dear Parents/Guardians,
We hope that everyone is keeping well despite the challenges of Covid-19 and are very much looking forward to welcoming you all back to school next Monday, 15th March 2021.
We know that the children will adapt back comfortably into our school’s existing Covid-19 routines with great enthusiasm and positivity.
The Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC) has not advised any change in the infection prevention and control measures in the context of the new variants. However, they emphasise the importance of rigorous adherence by members of the school community to existing measures. The same guidelines and safety measures will apply in our school as before Christmas.
Please note the following:-

• Pupils are asked to cooperate with any public health officials and the school for contact tracing purposes and follow any public health advice in the event of a case or outbreak in the school;

We are having a no uniform day on Tuesday 16th March. Children can ‘wear green for St. Patrick’s Day’, and are asked to please bring €2.
Recycling Clothes Collection
We will be having a recycling clothes collection on Thursday 25th March. Bags can be dropped outside the main gate of the school before 11am.
Art Work
Under the ‘Percent for Art Scheme’, we hope to construct a piece of sculpture on the roundabout outside the school in the next few months.
Again we would like to thank you for your ongoing support and cooperation in ensuring our school community can return to a safe and supportive learning environment, in what has been a very challenging time for everybody.
Please contact the school if you need any further clarification.
Looking forward to seeing you all on Monday.
Stay Safe.
