Congratulations to our girls' football team who are through to the final of the Cumann na mBunscoil competition. Our girls played their semi final today against Scoil Mhuire Killorglin in Milltown GAA pitch. This secured the victory for our girls team on a scoreline of 2-09 to 2-07.
We ...would like to thank Scoil Mhuire for a hard fought and thrilling contest today, the referee, Milltown/Castlemaine GAA club for the pitch and to the parents and supporters for all your support. Special mention to the girls football coaches Mr. Doyle, Mr. O’Connor, Mr. O’Connell and Mr. Browne. This is the second final they have reached this year and we are so proud of them and all the hard work they have done throughout the year.

We would like to wish our First Holy Communion class a massive congratulations and well done. Their Communion Day was such a special occasion. The children practiced very hard in the lead up to the day and their teacher's Mr. Fell and Ms. Bennett are very proud of them and are thrilled to have... been a part of this special day in their lives.

We would like to give a very BIG THANK YOU to Fr. Danny Broderick for all his help and a beautiful mass, along with Reverand Conor Bradley. Thank you to Mary A. and The Sisters for the fabulous flowers and well wishes. Thank you to our superb Nagle Rice Parents Association Milltown who go above and beyond each year to host a fabulous tea and coffee event after the mass. We are so grateful to you and really appreciate your time and effort! Thank you Ms. O Dowd and all the staff who always help and lend a hand to the Communion teachers whenever they need it. To Tim, our caretaker, to whom nothing is ever a problem and well- it just wouldn't run as smoothly without him.

Finally, to the parents, guardians and families of all of our 2nd class children. Thank you for all your help, support and understanding throughout the year in helping to prepare your children for their First Holy Communion.
